SUPER MARIO GALAXY, THE MOVIE is an animated film inspired by the world of the famous Super Mario Bros. game. It is the sequel to SUPER MARIO BROS., the first film which, released in 2023, grossed over $1.3 billion worldwide. Both films are produced by Chris Meledandri for Illumination and Shigeru Miyamoto for Nintendo.

Co-financed by Universal Pictures and Nintendo, the film will be distributed worldwide by Universal Pictures.

Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, the directors of the first film, return to helm this brand-new SUPER MARIO GALAXY MOVIE, based on a screenplay by Matthew Fogel, while Brian Tyler also returns to compose the film's original score.
